Novi Sad Al Wahda extend unprecedented streak with FIBA 3×3 World Tour Hyderabad Masters 2018 title

HYDERABAD (FIBA 3×3 World Tour 2018) – Novi Sad Al Wahda (SRB) continued to make history after winning their 5th Masters of the season in Hyderabad, India on September 22-23, 2018.

The two-time World Tour winners not only won each and every Masters in which they participated this year, they also finished the Masters season undefeated in 27 games! They did not qualify neither for the Chengdu Masters nor for the Penang Masters and will make their next appearance at the FIBA 3×3 World Tour Bloomage Beijing Final on October 27-28, 2018.

The number one team in the world won every game before the limit in Hyderabad and defeated archrivals Liman Tesla Voda (SRB) 21-16 in the final. Tournament MVP Dejan Majstorovic stepped up in the final minute of the game with back-to-back 2-pointers for the win and the USD 30,000 cheque, their 5th in 2018.

His teammate Dusan Bulut topped all scorers with 45 points in 5 games.

In the individual contests, Stanislav Sharov (Gagarin, RUS) won the shoot-out while Poland star dunker Rafal ‘Lipek’ Lipinski ruled the dunk contest and earned USD 2,500 in prize money.
